Skadar Lake in Bloom

An exciting seasonal tour around Montenegro's most beautiful lake!

At the end of spring, the surface of Lake Skadar is covered in blooming lilies. The peak flowering period is in May. You can admire them from the water, which is what we will dedicate the whole day to.

What's the Plan?

Day 1.  Arrival to Montenegro by train. A transfer meets us right at the station. After breakfast we go on a six-hour kayaking trip to the best spots. Depending on the weather, we change the route to see as many flowers and birds as possible. We spend the night in a cosy hotel in the centre of Budva.

Day 2. After breakfast, we head to the incredible Bay of Kotor. We explore the area, walk around the old town, climb the fortress walls and stroke cats. We lunch right on the seashore at an oyster farm and enjoy the freshest seafood with local sparkling wine. After lunch, we are transferred back to the train station.
