Kosmaj. Trekking with a Tour and Craft Beer

Would you like to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Star Wars or Ghost in the Shell posters?

We’re heading to the most legendary monument in Šumadija!

Kosmaj Spomennik (monument) inspired not only George Lucas! It’s great brutalistic architecture influensed on different directors, artists and designers, you can see it’s reflection in artbooks, movies, buildings all around the world.

After a short hike on historical Partizan path we see it in all it’s glory. In this tour we have a real art historian and monument restorer as a guide, ready to provide you with interesting facts.

What's the Plan?

• Start at 10 a.m. in Belgrade.

• Small tour around traditional Serbian monastery Tresije. 

• Hike to Kosmaj Spomennik.

• Nice forest walk to abandoned monastery Kasteljan (ruined at XVI century, and restoring only now).

• A bit more hiking with a great view on a valley of ancient Pannonian Sea.

• And finally, great time on a craft brewery Kabinet, one of the best in Serbia. We see the facilities, have a great dinner with craft beers, and spend some time on a grass with a bottle and great view of Kosmaj mountain.

This is a hedonistic tour: it does not start early, and the route is not very difficult. But there is a couple of more difficult hiking paths, that needs  a bit more energy=)
